How It Works

Our system requires drivers to operate as independent contractors or manage their own courier services. We will be in charge of handling the booking of goods, negotiating with brokers, coordinating the shipment with the drivers, and managing all necessary documentation in an organized manner. We utilize physical filing systems as well as digital software to efficiently upload and store these documents electronically.

We offer competitive rates and leverage technology, ensuring that we use up-to-date hardware and software systems. 

Professional development opportunities are in place for the drivers. 

Bonuses are available, this will be discussed during interviews.

We assist with detention fees, TONU support, and lumper services, and we maintain a 24/7 operational presence.

Bonuses and Holiday Benefits

We provide bonuses based on the following criteria: zero sick days, no call-outs, no disciplinary actions taken against the driver, no driving violations, and driving consistently for 12 consecutive months. Drivers are eligible for biweekly bonus payments of $100 from the 13th month through the 24th month. The qualification cycle resets in the 25th month.

Drivers will receive a 2% increase in pay rate for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Easter Sunday, Earth Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. They may take Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Easter Sunday, and Christmas Day off as allowable days if they meet the bonus qualification criteria.

Plaque for the first 100 drops completed by all drivers.

Plaque for the first 50 drops completed by brand-new drivers.

Recognition for attending all monthly meetings for 6 months.

Plaque and gift for attending all monthly meetings for 12 months.

About the Owner

Miss Jamila-Negesti Porter is a proud descendant of immigrant parents. She was raised on Long Island in New York and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University, with a background in business courses. After more than two decades, she transitioned from driving for Uber in Georgia to founding a small truck dispatching business.

She began her journey by taking the Dispatch Mastery Course by Good Energy Worldwide in 2022, and after completing it in June 2024, she established her own company, Sahara Pearl Logistics LLC. Transitioning from her role as a commercial driver, she decided to build her own business in the field of logistics and transportation. In the future, she envisions transporting oil for cars and tow trucks.

Our Future

Operating with a team consisting of one dispatcher and an executive assistant, we collaborate with 10 individual owner-operators who may work independently or under a carrier. We welcome CDL holders with active authority and insurance readiness, including new graduates keen to enter the industry. 

Our drivers remain highly motivated thanks to our quarterly training sessions and monthly meetings. At our company, we retain our employees by creating a business that outshines the competition, akin to a rare pearl in a harsh desert landscape.
